The Field Systems Project Engineer position requires a minimum of 3 years network integration experience. Also necessary are field and project management skills. You must be able to completely troubleshoot PC hardware and associated equipment, down to the board level, on-site as well as in shop. Excellent communication skills are also a must due to the fact you will be in direct contact with the client. This position requires that you are able to manage projects from beginning through completion, and, able to document your progress in detail. Managing projects entail project design, procurement of hardware, assembly and configuration, scheduling with the client for installation, and providing support to the client when the project is complete.

Required Certifications: Working towards or possesing MCSE or SCO ACE (Proof Required)

Required Skills: Windows 95/98/2000/XP Windows 2000 Server, Office 97/2000/XP Microsoft Exchange Server, Proxy Server, and IIS.

Beneficial Skills: Cabling Fundamentals, Routers, IP, NT Server/Workstation, R.A.I.D. MCSE, Cisco Certified.

This is a demanding position that requires true professionalism. It also comes with a good amount of freedom and requires that the applicant have excellent time management skills. Upon proving yourself as a responsible engineer, you will be able to schedule at your own discretion. This also translates into not being locked down to an 8:00 to 5:00 job. This is a career that has the earning potential of $50K and higher.

Starting Salary: Depends on experience.

Benefits: Full medical, 1 week paid vacation after 90 days, 2 weeks paid vacation after one year.

Mileage reimbursement: 31¢ per mile.
